Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, lightly pounded
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Pep & Zip Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Pep & Zip Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter, divided
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  2. Dredge chicken in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add fresh garlic to the pan and cook briefly until fragrant.
  6. Add chicken stock, lemon juice, and capers, scraping up browned bits.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer 8–10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Stir in remaining butter to finish the sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley flakes and garnish with lemon slices.
  10. Serve over pasta, rice, or vegetables.

Flavor Tip

Add ½ teaspoon of Pep & Zip Garlic Powder to the sauce along with the fresh garlic for a deeper roasted garlic flavor that holds up during simmering.
